On the evening of January 23, 2024, AIAA Atlanta hosted Rocketry Summit Atlanta 2024, the third such STEM event since 2019. The COVID pandemic prevented the Summit in 2020-2022. Invited guests included 18 student rocketeers representing teams from Creekview High school, the Ramblin’ Rocket Club and the Yellow Jacket Space Program (YJSP), both at Georgia Tech and from Kennesaw State University. AIAA Atlanta Section Vice-Chair Marlon Rodgers announced that the Section is providing financial sponsorship to each team. Section Member Geoffrey Grosguth donate extra STAMP altitude PCB’s to the Creekview HS team. The Summit was held at Red Lobster restaurant on Cobb Pkwy in Smyrna, GA.
