Two places to visit on the internet that are related to previous posts.
First, Tiffany Davis, an aerospace engineer at Georgia Tech becomes an internet phenomenon when pictures of her go viral. Apparently, people do not expect an attractive African-American woman when they see the hashtag #YesImARocketScientist. Hurray for women in science!
Secondly, video about how the special effects in The Martian were created. And if you haven’t read the book yet, why not? The science in the book is mostly sound; and author Andy Weir was not afraid to put the math out there for all to see.
