On Saturday 23 April 2016, the second annual STEM Wars event was held on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan State College in Atlanta, GA. The event brings together students from middle school, high school, and college and connects them with professionals in science, technology, engineering, and math. Tom Mensah, Atlanta AIAA member and President of Georgia Aerospace, and Jim Kennedy, NASA Director at Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, were on hand to Motivate and inspire 1000 kids from High Schools in STEM at Atlanta Metropolitan College during STEM Wars competition. The students saw robotic demonstrations and 3-D printing technology at the event.
