  • The Creekview team needed help in the amount of about $5,000 plus gas money to help them get to the competition in 2019.  AIAA Atlanta decided to help them by providing $500 to have t-shirts made. Of course, the AIAA Atlanta logo is prominently displayed on the sleeve of the t-shirts!! See photo below.

On May 18, 2019, the Top 101 teams met at Great Meadow in The Plains, Va. for the all-day event.

The top twenty-five finishers receive an invitation to participate in NASA’s Student Launch initiative to continue their exploration of rocketry with high-powered rockets and challenging mission parameters.

The two Creekview teams finished 4th and 5th. Congratulations to the teams and to their faculty sponsor Tim Smyrl <Tim.Smyrl@cherokeek12.net>.

We have invited the Creekview teams to join us in September 2019 to tell us how they achieve their success and to show off, but not launch, their rockets!!
