GHS invites you to join them on Thursday 2026 January 22nd at 11:00 AM CST via Zoom for their speaker series.

Dr. Gabriel Nastac will describe several enhancements to the NASA Computational Fluid

Dynamics (CFD) solver FUN3D and new simulations enabled by these architectural changes.

This includes closed-loop trajectory CFD simulations of a human-scale Mars lander

retropropulsion concept with plume interactions and engine throttling via NASA POST2 running

on exascale supercomputers. Fully automated hybrid mesh adaptation is also shown for

hypersonic flows around the NASA X-38.

This talk is hot off the presses at the bleeding edge — you don’t want to miss this!
