Calling all aircraft enthusiasts who want to build an airplane!! Here’s your chance to be part of the team that designs, builds and flies an unpowered glider in the Red Bull Flugtag in Tampa Bay, FL, on November 9, 2024!! AIAA Atlanta has been contacted by the CEO of a local aviation company who wants to enter a glider aircraft in the Red Bull Flugtag as part of publicizing & marketing his company! Budget $5000. He is looking for a DBF team (design, build, fly)!! This will be FUN!!

I have already conceived of a potential winning glider configuration. We need a place for the build that is close by and convenient to the team!! Do you have a shop, garage, hangar or pole barn at home that could be used for this? Other ideas?
