In addition to directing the aerospace programs at Georgia Tech, Dr. Yang is a Fellow in the AIAA and is running to be its President.  He would like to share with you his goals & objectives if he is elected.  See website www.ae.gatech.edu/aiaa-yang for more details. AIAA Atlanta Council Members will discuss the benefits of choosing AIAA as your technical society as a way to keep informed of technology innovations, public policy issues and career advancement opportunities that may apply to Delta’s Engineering and MRO at TechOps.

If you want to support and vote for Dr. Yang in his campaign for President, you would first need to join AIAA.  Voting for Dr. Yang must be done by close of the election on March 31, 2017.

Special presentations will be made by distinguished AIAA Members:

  • Dimitri Mavris (Fellow)will speak about the NASA Environmentally Responsible Aviation (ERA) Project.
  • Steve Justice (Associate Fellow)will speak about Supersonic Business Jets (SSBJ).

Something in these two currently active topics will surely catch your attention. Will Delta soon add SSBJ’s to its current fleet of Private Jets?
